Shuttle was a little interesting... driver locked himself out and we had to open the door for him from the inside, also the passenger door wouldn't open from the inside either. Then the insurance part- they have a very specific list of insurance companies they work with which I have never seen before in my time renting cars. Even though I have coverage that met the guidelines other than the name on the card they forced me to purchase additional insurance at 3x the rate I booked the car for originally per day. Just spend the extra few dollars up front and get a car with a normal company. Absolutely not worth the trouble.

I never used it a rented from Hertz it was so convenient and there I couldn’t find where to go and no communication so I couldn’t get my money back but had a good experience with Hertz

Car was fine and most of the people I interacted with were fine, but I was charged an additional $120 that none of the advance material warned me about. The $120 was for their liability insurance. The company did not, in any of the pre-registration information gathering, inform me that they would need my car insurance information (not something I carry with me). They could have easily asked for this prior to pick-up OR they could have warned me that I would need to prove my coverage at pick-up. I have rented many many cars and have never needed to show my auto insurance info, tho I would have been happy to do so if I had been warned in advance and not left it at home. I won't rent from them again and have been telling all my colleagues and friends about their under-handed maneuver.

Everything thing went smoothly once I agreed to get their insurance coverage. But it appears that all rental companies hit you up for their insurance. Either it's in the original price or it is demanded after. They all increased the amount of coverage need that what your credit cards offer is not enough.

I reserved an intermediate vehicle and received a booking confirmation. Shortly there after when I went to the rental location to pick up the rental car I was informed that instead of the car that I had booked and reserved they only had a truck. I am a short petite gir and I did not rent nor want a truck to drive. I was unapologetically told there were no other vehicles despite my booking confirmation and there is nothing they can do. I left the rental location unsatisfied during a time that finding an alternative rental car in town was quite nearly impossible. They went into the system at this time and canceled my reservation as expected since they had been able to give me car; however, I was still charged the insurance on said vehicle but I never picked up. Now I’m having to deal with the insurance company to try and get a refund , as reaching customer service through the rental company is nearly impossible.
